Biography
Gumilang is a senior research fellow at CSEAS Indonesia and a researcher at the School of Business and Management, Bandung Institute of Technology. He serves as a valued advisor to Food Bank Bandung, a notable non-profit organization dedicated to community welfare. Presently, Gumilang plays a pivotal role as a steering committee member in GRASP 2030 (Gotong Royong Atasi Susut & Limbah Pangan di Tahun 2030), an initiative spearheaded by the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD). Additionally, he contributes his expertise as a member of the Indonesian Epidemiologist and Veterinary Economist Association (AEEVI).
Gumilang holds a multidisciplinary academic background, earning his doctoral degree in Business Economics (Animal Health Economics) from Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Prior to this, he completed his master’s degree in Small Business & Entrepreneurship from the University of Groningen, also in The Netherlands, and obtained his bachelor’s degree in management from Bandung Institute of Technology.
